For thousands of years, two essential fatty acids have remained vitally important in diets: omega-3 and omega-6. Our body does not produce either one, which means they are only available through dietary intake. Their ratio in the body has long been around 1:1. However, it is now 1:10 or even 1:30 in some areas because of modern industrialized agriculture over the last 100 years. This imbalanced ratio has contributed to numerous disorders and chronic diseases.
In order to restore balance, we offer dietary supplements with a higher concentration of omega-3. Experts from the National Institutes of Health and other professional associations contributed to the science behind them.
